I had sold a totally restored (authentic Granetelli built B103) R3 engine from my collection to a customer in New York.  He sent me a 1964 R2 Studebaker Avanti for the installation. The car had an R2 engine in it and I installed the R3 engine in the vehicle, while making other modifications.  Once I completed the installation, I tested and tuned the car for about a week and I shipped the car back to him.  The car was totally different with the R3 in it!  Enjoy the pictures.
