This is an engine I built for a customer in Chicago.  It is a service block (clover leaf block) that was bored 0.093" and honed to 0.004" clearance.  I used a set of NOS R4 pistons and milled the dome off.  This brings me back to an R3 piston.  The block was notched for the valve reliefs and was fitted with my reproduction R3 cast iron heads.  Howards rods along with a 6 quart oil pan and extended pickup were used to finish off the botton end.  A 0.481" lift reground R2 cam and titanium valvetrain finished off the upper end.
