R2 Engine Build #3

This is an Avanti style R2 engine built for a customer down in Gainsville Florida. It is 0.030" overbore with R3 valves and R2+ springs.

Lining up disk with input shaft so pressure plate can be torqued

Balanced clutch assembly (Note index marks for balanced assembly)

Ready for the heads

Resurfaced Flywheel

New piston rings

Balanced Crankshaft

Machined Block

New Freeze Plugs

Engine Almost Done

Heads bead blasted, magnafluxed, and bowls sonic checked

Block painted and ready for assembly
