Stage III R3 Heads

These are pictures of my Stage III R3 reproduction heads. These are CAST IRON
heads that have been machined via a mill and then hand ported and polished for the final finish. They are fitted with R3 valves,
with the valve guides closer for a direct bolt on. They are made so that they will fit any 259, 289, R1, or R2
engines without having to notch the deck. I can also make the combustion chambers with the valve guides farther apart for
even bigger valves up to 2", but that will require the deck to be noched. These heads will work perfectly
on my custom big bore Studebaker blocks. This is achieved with proprietary modular wet sleeve cylinders up to
3.9" in bore size!      |
